Abstract
Out of all this we realize the vital role education must play in establishing this permanent peace. So let us landslide from the atomic bomb to a niche in an elementary program. That niche is the art program since the arts are of major importance in this role. Let us then consider the teaching of art from several aproaches; first, the situation as it exists: second, the direction of real progress; and last, a need for good art teaching as it fills an important role in world peace.
